KMJ Consulting, Inc. is a client-focused transportation engineering and consulting services firm. The firm provides a broad spectrum of transportation services, including but not limited to: traffic engineering and operations; transportation planning and ITS services such as strategic planning, traveler information and road weather applications; and risk analysis/ risk assessment services and consulting.

Our client base includes USDOT, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the I-95 Corridor Coalition, PennDOT, DelDOT and others. KMJ has completed a variety of projects, ranging from traditional traffic engineering studies and design to ITS strategic planning.

The KMJ team includes traffic engineers, planners, scientists, Traffic Management Center operators and administrative staff. We are committed to helping our clients accomplish their project technical and organizational goals by working proactively to sort out issues, anticipate problems and identify viable solutions.

KMJ Consulting, Inc. has released the final report “Bluetooth Travel Time Technology Evaluation Using the BlueTOAD”

Haverford, PA— (January 22, 2010) – KMJ Consulting, Inc. has released the final report “Bluetooth Travel Time Technology Evaluation Using the BlueTOAD“ prepared as a sub consultant to Jacobs for the PennDOT District 6 0 ITS Open End Contract. PennDOT hosted and participated in a demonstration of Bluetooth technology using the BlueTOAD, a product distributed by TrafficCast International (TCI). The evaluation determined that the travel times produced by BlueTOAD are comparable to those produced by the EZPass tag readers. (click to read the full report for more details)
